Avid Protools HDX card

Avid에서 제작한 DSP card이다. 기존 Core, Accel로 이루어진 프로세싱 카드를 재설계해서 2011에 첫 발표를 했다.

어찌보면 엄청나게 오래된(?) DSP이고 요즘 GPU에 비하면 턱없이 느린 프로세서이지만, 버스로 묶어서 프로세싱하는 방식을 사용하지 못하는 애트모스 믹스에서 다시 인기가 생겨나는 분위기이다.  물론 한국에서는 탈 프로툴즈 분위기가 있는거같지만.

이베이에서 생각치 못하게(?) High Bidder가 되버려서 구입(!)

셀러가 상태 확인 불가라 하였는데 어떤 곳에서 사용 됐던건지.
먼지 털고 PCB 세척.

내부에 설치.

Software requirements

Pro Tools Ultimate

* Latency calculated using a 96 kHz sample rate with a 64-sample buffer. Tests run using Pro Tools | HDX and Pro Tools | HD Native with Pro Tools | HD I/O.

** Audio tracks based on sample rates of 48/96/192 kHz, respectively. Installing additional cards will increase track counts to the maximum allowable.
